- Face-up baths (no submerging) are safe from Day 2
- No swimming, hot tubs, or open-water bathing for 4 weeks
- Water (including clean tap water) can carry bacteria that risk infection
- Splash-type face washing should be replaced with a damp cloth for 1 week
Guidelines & Tips
- Use a damp cotton cloth to gently clean around (not on) the eyes
- Tilt head back in shower and use a hand shower for hair washing
- Pat the eye area dry — never rub
- Avoid bath salts, bubble bath products near the eye area
- After 1 week, you may gently splash the face but avoid rubbing
- Swimming pools and sea: wait minimum 4 weeks before swimming
